Το Ίδρυμα Ωνάση, σε συνεργασία με τον Δήμο Αθηναίων και το Ίδρυμα Γεωργίου Ζογγολόπουλου - George Zongolopoulos Foundation, δίνει ζωή σε ένα έργο-σύμβολο της Αθήνας, το «Πεντάκυκλο» του διεθνώς αναγνωρισμένου γλύπτη Γεωργίου Ζογγολόπουλου, επαναφέροντάς το σε πλήρη λειτουργία σύμφωνα με το όραμα του δημιουργού του. Ένα έργο ζωντανό στην ανανεωμένη Πλατεία Ομονοίας, όπου η αδιάκοπη ροή του νερού δίνει την κίνηση στους πέντε μεταλλικούς κύκλους που το αποτελούν, αντανακλώντας τον ρυθμό της καρδιάς της Αθήνας.

“FIVE CIRCLES” IN OMONΟΙA LIVES AGAIN
The Onassis Foundation, in collaboration with the City of Athens and the George Zongolopoulos Foundation, is bringing a symbol of Athens back to life by fully restoring the "Five Circles" by internationally acclaimed sculptor Georgios Zongolopoulos. A constantly flowing work of art in the renewed Omonoia Square, where the uninterrupted flow of water gives life to the five metal circles that make it up, reflecting the rhythm of the square where the heart of the city beats.
