Αυτό που ζούμε το τελευταίο διάστημα είναι πρωτόγνωρο για όλους μας. Η νέα αυτή κατάσταση δεν θα αφήσει κανέναν αλώβητο. Πόσο μάλλον τα χορωδιακά φεστιβάλ ανά τον κόσμο. Το σίγουρο είναι ότι δεν θα πρέπει να αφεθούμε στην δύναμη της αδράνειας και της φθοράς. Πρέπει να επανακαθορίσουμε τους στόχους για το 2020 και το 2021. Να ετοιμάσουμε πλάνο ενεργειών το οποίο θα το επικαιροποιούμε τακτικά και ανάλογα με το πως εξελίσσονται τα πράγματα. Έτσι και το Διεθνές Χορωδιακό Φεστιβάλ Πρέβεζας καθορίζει τους νέους του στόχους για την χρονιά που έρχεται.Παρόλο που αναβάλαμε την πραγματοποίηση του Διεθνούς Χορωδιακού Φεστιβάλ Πρέβεζας, που είχε προγραμματιστεί να διεξαχθεί από τις 6 έως τις 12 Ιουλίου 2020, επανερχόμαστε λειτουργώντας με αίσθημα κοινωνικής ευθύνης και ακολουθώντας πιστά τις κρατικές οδηγίες, συμβάλλοντας με όλες μας τις δυνάμεις, στην προσπάθεια για το μετριασμό των επιπτώσεων της πανδημίας του κορωνοϊού COVID 19, σε όλες τις πτυχές της κοινωνικής και οικονομικής μας ζωής.
Φέτος οι εκδηλώσεις θα είναι σπονδυλωτές και θα χωριστούν σε 2 μέρη:
1. Συναυλία της Παιδικής Χορωδίας «Αρμονία» Πρέβεζας στις 02.09.2020 στο Αρχαίο Ωδείο της Νικόπολης , αφιερωμένη στην επέτειο της ναυμαχίας του Ακτίου.
2. Διαδικτυακή φεστιβαλική εκδήλωση στο Κηποθέατρο με τη συμμετοχή χορωδιών από όλο τον κόσμο σε συνεργασία με το Διεθνές Χορωδιακό Φεστιβάλ Μιούζικαλ Θεσσαλονίκης στις 17 και 18 Οκτωβρίου 2020.
Και στις δυο εκδηλώσεις οι θέσεις θα είναι περιορισμένες.
Προσκαλούμε τις χορωδίες από όλον τον κόσμο να συμμετέχουν στη κεντρική διαδικτυακή μας συνάντηση τον Οκτώβριο του 2020 στην Πρέβεζα. Η συνάντηση αυτή δεν θα έχει διαγωνιστικό χαρακτήρα.
Όσες χορωδίες το επιθυμούν μπορούν να μας αποστείλουν ένα πρόσφατο βίντεο με ένα τραγούδι που θα ερμηνεύουν και αυτό θα παρουσιαστεί τόσο διαδικτυακά όσο και σε ανοικτή εκδήλωση που θα λάβει χώρα στην Πρέβεζα. Παράλληλα θα συνδεθούμε διαδικτυακά με κάποιον εκπρόσωπο της χορωδίας όπου σε ζωντανή μετάδοση θα γίνεται η παρουσίαση της χορωδίας.
Η εκδήλωση θα γίνει σε συνεργασία με το Διεθνές Χορωδιακό Φεστιβάλ Μιούζικαλ Θεσσαλονίκης, όπου αντίστοιχα θα παρουσιαστούν κι από αυτό χορωδίες. Παράλληλα, διεθνείς προσωπικότητες της διεθνής χορωδιακής μουσικής θα κληθούν να μιλήσουν σε ζωντανή σύνδεση, μεταφέροντας μας την εμπειρία και τη γνώση τους.

Virtual Festival 2020
What we are experiencing lately is unprecedented for all of us; the ‘new normal’ has touched every one of us and left its mark. But what affects the individual affects the community, this has left choral festivals around the world reeling. The future may currently be unknown, but what is certain is that the choral community must not give in to stagnation or apathy. We need to redefine our goals for 2020 and 2021. We must constantly adapt to the situation and breathe life back into the chorus; accordingly, the Preveza International Choir Festival has set the following goals for the coming year.
It should be noted that although we have postponed the Preveza International Choir Festival - scheduled to take place from 6th until the 12th of July 2020 – we will return with an elevated sense of responsibility, following the government’s guidance carefully to moderate the effects of the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic on all aspects of our social and economic lives.
This year the events will be modular and will be divided into 2 parts:
1. Concert of the Children's Choir ‘Armonia’ of Preveza on 02.09.2020 at the Ancient Conservatory of Nikopolis, dedicated to the anniversary of the naval battle of Aktio.
2. Online festival event at the Garden Theater with the participation of choirs from around the world in collaboration with the International Musical Festival of Thessaloniki on October 17 and 18, 2020.
For both events, spaces will be limited.
We invite choirs from all over the world to participate in our main online meeting in October 2020 in Preveza. This meeting will not be competitive.
Any choirs wishing to send us a recent video of them performing a song, will be presented both online and at an open air event that will take place in Preveza (spaces will be limited). At the same time, we will connect online with a representative each choir, who will present each choir.
The event will be held in collaboration with the International Choir Music Festival of Thessaloniki, where respective choirs will also be presented. At the same time, international personalities of choral music will be invited to speak live, sharing their experience and knowledge with the community.
