Στην συγκεκριμένη σύμπραξη οδήγησαν οι δημιουργικές γνωριμίες της Άλκηστις Μισούλη με τον Γρηγόρη Θεοδωρίδη και τον Joy Shechter στην Αθήνα και αργότερα στο Άμστερνταμ. Η σύνδεση προκύπτει από το ενδιαφέρον όλων των μουσικών προς των συνδυασμό πολλαπλών μουσικών στοιχείων με επιρροές από διαφορετικά μουσικά είδη. Το ρεπερτόριο της βραδιάς θα περιλαμβάνει πρωτότυπη μουσική και διασκευές από αγαπημένα τους jazz standards.

Alkistis Misouli
Currently pursuing her Master’s in Conservatorium van Amsterdam with the two-year scholarship ‘’Alexandra Trianti’’, Alkistis Misouli has created her own program, combining several musical angles, from jazz improvisation to composition, her main teachers being Richard Ayres, Sven Arne Tepl, Jeffrey Bruinsma and Simon Rigter. Born in Athens , Alkistis has been playing the viola since the age of 9, having obtained her first Diploma in Athens Conservatory with Ilias Sdoukos in 2018. Since then, she completed her Bachelor with Sven Arne Tepl and Nobuko Imai (2022). Before moving to Amsterdam, she had already obtained professional experience by working with leading orchestras in Greece and also performing as a soloist. In June 2020, she began her own sound-composition series based on improvisation, the Covid-19 Miniatures and since then she has been focusing on creating her own improvisational and compositional language, also including Greek folk musical elements. She is currently a member of two ensembles in Amsterdam.
Grigoris Theodoridis
Grigoris Theodoridis was born and raised in the city of Agrinio. At the age of 17 he moved to Athens and studied Jazz and classical double bass. In 2011 he moved to the Netherlands to study jazz performance at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague and received his diploma with honors in 2016. Since 2017 he has traveled and played music at festivals in Europe and jazz venues in New York, Tokyo, Shanghai, London, Copenhagen, etc. He has collaborated with many recognized Jazz musicians in Europe such as Juraj Stanik, Eric Ineke, Rik Mol, Attila Gyarfas, Thomas Maasz, the latter being also members of his personal trio.

Joy Shechter
Joy Shechter is an Israeli piano player based in Amsterdam. With a background in film music composition he is trying to implement our-of-music ideas and scenery within the context of jazz and other forms of improvised music. Joy holds a bachelor from Berklee College of Music and recently completed his Master from the Conservatory of Amsterdam, on which he studied with teachers such as Harmen Fraanje and Rob Van Bavel. He performed in venues such as Bimhuis and Paradiso and in festivals around Europe and in Israel, such as the Tel Aviv Jazz Festival, Jardin de jazz in Portugal and the Laren jazz festival in the Netherlands.
