Παιδική συναυλία με παρουσίαση όλων των πνευστών οργάνων
Η 1η συναυλία της αυστριακής συμφωνικής ορχήστρας πνευστών οργάνων Danubia. Σε συνεργασία με το Δημοτικό Ωδείο Καλαμάτας, στο πλαίσιο του Ελληνοαυστριακού Μουσικού Καλοκαιριού και υπό την αιγίδα της Αυστριακής Πρεσβείας.

Συμφωνική Ορχήστρα Πνευστών «Danubia Symphonic Winds» (DSW)
Η Συμφωνική Ορχήστρα Πνευστών «Danubia Symphonic Winds» (DSW) είναι το αποτέλεσμα της συνεργασίας των Μουσικών Σχολών της Κάτω Αυστρίας (Niederösterreich):

Περιφέρεια Wagram (Διεύθυνση: Markus Holzer)
Sieghartskirchen (Διεύθυνση: Andreas Simbeni)
Traismauer (Διεύθυνση: Andreas Rauscher)
Tulln (Διεύθυνση: Karl Hemmelmayer)
Σκοπός της συνεργασίας αυτών των πέντε μουσικών σχολών είναι να δοθεί η δυνατότητα σε νέους, αφοσιωμένους στο αντικείμενό τους μουσικούς να έρθουν σε άμεση επαφή – ως μέλη μιας μεγάλης ορχήστρας (57 μουσικοί ηλικίας από 15 έως 24 ετών) – με πολύ ξεχωριστά έργα συμφωνικής μουσικής για πνευστά και να τα παρουσιάσουν με την υψηλότερη δυνατή απόδοση κατά τη διάρκεια συναυλιών στην περιοχή τους και όχι μόνο.
Μέχρι τώρα η εν λόγω ορχήστρα έχει πραγματοποιήσει συναυλίες το 2016, το 2017 και το 2018 στην Κάτω Αυστρία (Niederösterreich) και την Άνω Αυστρία (Oberösterreich), ενώ πέρυσι πραγματοποίησε συναυλίες στην Ελλάδα και συγκεκριμένα στην Μεσσήνη.
Διευθυντής της Ορχήστρας:
Ο Andreas Simbeni σπούδασε κόρνο, διδασκαλία μουσικών οργάνων, διεύθυνση ορχήστρας πνευστών, ενορχήστρωση και σύνθεση σε Graz, Wien, Linz και Bolzano. Από το 2004 διδάσκει διεύθυνση μουσικών συνόλων / ορχήστρας πνευστών (ΕΕΤ) στη Μουσική Σχολή της Άνω Αυστρίας (Oberösterreich) και είναι διευθυντής της Περιφερειακής Μουσικής Σχολής του Sieghartskirchen. Με την Ορχήστρα Νέων και τη Συμφωνική Ορχήστρα Πνευστών του Sieghartskirchen κατέκτησε κορυφαίες θέσεις σε αυστριακούς διαγωνισμούς για ορχήστρες πνευστών που απαρτίζονται από νέες και νέους μουσικούς. Στο διάστημα μεταξύ 2011 και 2015 ολοκλήρωσε τις σπουδές του στο Ωδείο του Bolzano με καθηγητή τον Thomas Doss. Από το 2012 είναι Διευθυντής της Φιλαρμονικής Ορχήστρας Πνευστών Βιέννης.
Πολιτιστικές ανταλλαγές με την Ελλάδα:
Η Συμφωνική Ορχήστρα Πνευστών «Danubia Symphonic Winds» (DSW) υφίσταται εδώ και τρία χρόνια και έχει βάλει την σφραγίδα της στις διάφορες πολιτιστικές περιοχές της Αυστρίας, αλλά και στην Ελλάδα. Από πέρυσι έχει ξεκινήσει ένα κοινό πρόγραμμα ανταλλαγών μεταξύ δύο περιοχών της Αυστρίας και της Καλαμάτας.
Η πρώτη περιοδεία της ορχήστρας στην Ελλάδα πραγματοποιήθηκε κατά την έναρξη της Αυστριακής Προεδρίας του Συμβουλίου της ΕΕ τον Ιούλιο 2018. Η ανταπόδοση της επίσκεψης της ελληνικής χορωδίας και της ορχήστρας των πνευστών έλαβε χώρα στην περιοχή του Δούναβη στο Klosterneuburg στα πλαίσια της πρωτοχρονιάτικης συναυλίας.
Το έργο συγχρηματοδοτείται από το ομόσπονδο κρατίδιο της Κάτω Αυστρίας (Niederösterreich).

Symphonic Wind Orchestra “Danubia Symphonic Winds” (DSW)
The Symphonic Wind Orchestra “Danubia Symphonic Winds” (DSW) is the result of the cooperation between the Music Schools of Lower Austria (Niederösterreich):
Klosterneuburg (Direction: Ariadne Basili)
Wagram district (Direction: Markus Holzer)
Sieghartskirchen (Direction: Andreas Simbeni)
Traismauer (Direction: Andreas Rauscher)
Tulln (Direction: Karl Hemmelmayer)
Aim of this cooperation between those five music schools is to give the opportunity to young and dedicated musicians to be confronted – as members of a big orchestra (57 musicians between 15 and 24 years old) – with very distinct symphonic works for wind instruments and to present those with the highest possible level during concerts in their region, but also abroad.
Until now, the orchestra has appeared on stage in 2016, 2017 and 2018 in Lower Austria (Niederösterreich) and Upper Austria (Oberösterreich) and it also appeared last year in Greece (Messini).
Conductor:
Andreas Simbeni studied horn, musical instrument pedagogics, wind orchestra conducting, orchestration and composition at Graz, Vienna, Linz and Bolzano. Since 2004, he teaches conducting of ensembles and of wind orchestras (ΕΒΟ) at the Landesmusikschulwerk of Upper Austria and he is also the director of the Music School of the Sieghartskirchen Districkt. With the Youth Orchestra and the Symphonic Wind Orchestra of Sieghartskirchen he won high prizes at Austrian youth orchestra competitions. From 2011 until 2015 he concluded his studies at the Conservatory of Bolzano with Thomas Doss. Since 2012 he is the conductor of the Vienna Philharmonic Wind Orchestra.
Cultural exchanges with Greece
The Symphonic Wind Orchestra “Danubia Symphonic Winds” exists for three years and made since then its presence felt at the cultural regions of Austria, but also in Greece. Last year, it started a common exchange program between of two regions of Austria and Kalamata.
The first tour of the orchestra in Greece was carried out during the start of the Austrian Presidency at the Council of the EU in July 2018. The Youth Choir of the Municipal Conservatory of Kalamata and the wind orchestra appeared then together on sage at Klosterneuburg, Austria, in the context of a New Year’s Eve concert.
The project is co-financed by the Federal State of Lower Austria (Niederösterreich).
