Ο Αμερικανός θρύλος του underground αυτοσχεδιασμού Jack Wright (σαξόφωνο) επιστρέφει στην Αθήνα 8 χρόνια μετά την αξέχαστη εμφανισή του στη Knot Gallery, παρουσιάζοντας για πρώτη φορά στην Ελλάδα το ντούο πρότζεκτ του με τον Ben Bennett (κρουστά), καθώς και μια απρόβλεπτη σύμπραξη / επανασυνάντηση με τους acte vide, το ντουέτο των Γιάννη Κοτσώνη (ηλεκτρονικά) και Δανάη Στεφάνου (πιάνο).

Ο Jack Wright και ο Ben Bennett παίζουν μαζί από το 2006. Γνωρίστηκαν μέσω του πατέρα του Ben, John Μ. Bennett, o οποίος υπήρξε συνεργάτης του Jack από τη δεκαετία του '80 και διάσημος ποιητής στην αμερικανική underground σκηνή. Και οι τρεις έπαιζαν μαζί ως Rotty What, και κυκλοφόρησαν δύο δίσκους στην Edgetone: "Naming the Dust" και "Ohio Grimes and Misted Meanies". Μαζί με τον μπασίστα Evan Lipson, ο Ben και ο Jack δημιούργησαν τους Wrest, περιόδευσαν στις Ηνωμένες Πολιτείες από το 2012 έως το 2014, και κυκλοφόρησαν τους δίσκους "Wrest" και "Ingress". Σαν ντουέτο έχουν κυκλοφορήσει το "Tangle" στο label Public Eyesore. Το 2016 ο Ben μετακόμισε στη Φιλαδέλφεια, όπου ζει ο Jack, και από τότε συνεργάζονται τακτικά είτε ως ντουέτο, είτε ως τρίο μαζί με τον Zack Darrup, είτε με διάφορους άλλους μουσικούς.

Oι acte vide (κενή πράξη) είναι ο Γιάννης Κοτσώνης και η Δανάη Στεφάνου. Από το 2006 αυτοσχεδιάζουν μαζί, εξερευνώντας τα όρια του θορύβου και της σιωπής. Έχουν πραγματοποιήσει πολυάριθμες συναυλίες και αυτοσχέδιες δράσεις στην Ελλάδα και σε άλλες χώρες, συχνά σε διάλογο με άλλους μουσικούς, εικαστικούς και σκηνοθέτες. Διανύουν την εποχή της επιτάχυνσης με σχετική ηρεμία, ενημερώνοντας πολύ σπάνια την ιστοσελίδα τους.

The American legend of underground improvisation Jack Wright (saxophone) returns to Athens 8 years after his unforgettable performance at Knot Gallery, presenting for the first time in Greece his duo project with Ben Bennett (percussion), as well as an unexpected collaboration / reunion with acte vide, the duet of Giannis Kotsonis (electronics) and Danae Stefanou (piano).

Jack Wright and Ben Bennett have been playing together since 2006. They met through Ben's dad, John M. Bennett, well known in the underground poetry scene, who had been a partner of Jack's since the 80s. The three played as a trio in the group Rotty What, documented on two recordings, "Naming the Dust," and "Ohio Grimes and Misted Meanies" (on Edgetone). Together with Evan Lipson, bassist, Ben and Jack played as Wrest, which toured the US four times, 2012-2014 and produced two CDs, "Wrest" and "Ingress". As a duo they produced "Tangle" on Public Eyesore Records. In 2016 Ben moved from his home in Columbus Ohio to Philadelphia, where Jack lives, and the two have been collaborating regularly since then, as a duo (Some Nice Creaks), in trio with Zach Darrup (Never), and with various musicians who come through.

acte vide
Acte vide (empty act) are Giannis Kotsonis and Danae Stefanou. Since 2006 they have been improvising together, exploring the limits of noise and silence. They have performed numerous concerts and improvised events in Greece and other countries, often in dialogue with other musicians, artists and directors. They go through the age of acceleration with relative ease, updating their website very rarely.
