Sinatra With A Twist: A Tribute To Frank Sinatra

Today is the 12th of December, and on what would have been Frank Sinatra’s 103rd birthday, I am extremely excited to announce our performance of our project “Sinatra With A Twist”: A Tribute To Frank Sinatra as part of the annual Χριστουγεννα στην Αθηνα - Christmas in Athens celebrations held by the City of Athens at Syntagma Square on Sunday 23 December from 18.00-20.00.

to Frank Sinatra with the Alexandros Affolter Quartet.

With the recent Centennial celebrations for Frank Sinatra it has become clear that his music is still relevant today.
“Sinatra with a Twist” is a new music project by Jazz Vocalist Alexandros Affolter and Drummer Serafim Bellos.
Alexandros has been inspired by Frank Sinatra’s vocals, phrasing and diction from a very early age and Serafim has been fascinated by Frank Sinatra’s rhythm & timing and will be setting the rhythm for the show. Together, with Brian Voll on piano and Manos Loutas on bass, they will bring their own jazzy take on the Sinatra repertoire. Well known songs like “I’ve Got You Under My Skin” and “Fly Me To The Moon”, and not so well known songs like “I’m A Fool To Want You” and “Moonlight In Vermont” will be performed and paired with songs that Sinatra loved to perform like “One For My Baby” and “Angel Eyes”.
