More than 25.000 people under heavy rain for Sonisphere Festival 2010

Athens, Friday 25 June. Very successful was the Sonisphere Festival 2010 at Malakasa Τerra Vibe Park, outside of Athens, Greece. Metal fanatics and fans of Metallica come from Athens and allover Greece to see their favored bands.The Big Four, Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth, Anthrax made audience to dance and scream loudly all-day long until midnight. The Stone Sour, the SuicidalΑngels and the Βullet For Μy Valentine bands started the show with their supporters. The Sonisphere Festival is a series of summer music festivals to take place across Europe in June 2009 and summer 2010. The festival is owned and promoted by Kilimanjaro Live with financial backing from AEG. The Big Four are all American bands, were despite anti-Americanism and financial crisis in Greece, more than 25.000 thousands of Greeks spend from 85 to 100 euro to get a ticket. They love so much the bands that I was surprised when Megadeth performers addressed them with a dirty language, even they get it with maso-pleasure. Personaly I liked more the Anthrax band and all their songs. Metallica addressed to all audiences with respect, (in contrary than Megadeth), and gave a big show with light effects and audiovisual multimedia huge screen arena. I loved the way Metallica knows how to entertain their audiences. I don’t understand how inspectors gave permission to that terrible parking lot area for parking space, many cars had damaged, and they couldn’t get off from there.
