Four New Clergymen in the Canadian Archdiocese

The Holy Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of Canada would like to inform with much happiness and glory to God, the following new ordinations to the clergy:

George Kodogeorgakis 28 years old, a graduate of our Theological Academy, was made a monk and took the name Nikodimos. On April 30, 2019, he was ordained a Deacon at the church of St. Nicholas in Laval, Quebec. On May 16, 2019, he was ordained a Priest at Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church in Laval, Quebec. Axios!

Michael Christodimitropoulos 39 years old, a first year student of our Theological Academy, was tonsured a monk and took the name Venediktos. On May 18, 2019, he was ordained a Deacon at St. George Greek Orthodox Church in Montreal, Quebec. On June 4, 2019, he was ordained a Priest also at St. George Greek Orthodox Church in Montreal, Quebec. Axios!

Thomas Sandberg 35 years old, married, in his fourth year of studies at our Theological Academy. On July 5, 2019, he was ordained a Deacon at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Axios!

Kosta Chialtas married and father of a young boy, is 39 years old and a graduate of our Theological Academy. He was ordained a Deacon at Prophet Elias Greek Orthodox Church in Mississauga, Ontario. Axios!

Our Holy Archdiocese is delighted to have these young new Clergymen, who bring a lot to the Orthodox Church in Canada.

His Eminence Archbishop Sotirios praises the Trinitarian God for the great blessing of the new clergymen. He congratulates the new Clergymen and wishes them success in their ministries. Many thanks to their families as well.

Η Ι. Αρχιεπισκοπή Καναδά ανακοινώνει με πολλή χαρά και δοξολογία στον Θεό, τις κάτωθι χειροτονίες κληρικών της:

Γεώργιος Κοντογιωργάκης, ετών 28, πτυχιούχος της Θεολογικής μας Ακαδημίας, εκάρη μοναχός και έλαβε το όνομα Νικόδημος. Tην 30η Απριλίου 2019, χειροτονήθηκε Διάκονος στον Ι. Ναό Αγ. Νικολάου, Laval, Quebec. Την 16η Μαϊου 2019, χειροτονήθηκε Πρεσβύτερος στον Ι. Ναό Τιμίου Σταυρού, Laval, Quebec. Άξιος!

Μιχαήλ Χριστοδημητρόπουλος, ετών 39, πρωτοετής φοιτητής της Θεολογικής μας Ακαδημίας, εκάρη μοναχός και έλαβε το όνομα Βενέδικτος. Την 18η Μαϊου 2019, χειροτονήθηκε Διάκονος στον Ι. Ναό Αγ. Γεωργίου, Montreal, Quebec. Την 4η Ιουνίου 2019, χειροτονήθηκε Πρεσβύτερος στον Ι. Ναό Αγίου Γεωργίου, Montreal, Quebec. Άξιος!

Θωμάς Sandberg, ετών 35, έγγαμος, τεταρτοετής φοιτητής της Θεολογικής μας Ακαδημίας. Την 5η Ιουλίου 2019, χειροτονήθηκε Διάκονος στον Ι.Ναό Αγ. Δημητρίου, Winnipeg, Manitoba. Άξιος!

Κωνσταντίνος Τσιάλτας, έγγαμος, πατήρ ενός τέκνου, ετών 39, πτυχιούχος της Θεολογικής μας Ακαδημίας. Την 20η Ιουλίου 2019, χειροτονήθηκε Διάκονος στον Ι. Ναό Προφήτου Ηλιού, Mississauga, Ontario. Άξιος!

Η Ιερά μας Αρχιεπισκοπή είναι πανευτυχής για την απόκτηση των νέων αυτών κληρικών, οι οποίοι υπόσχονται πολλά για την Ορθόδοξη Εκκλησία στον Καναδά.

Ο Αρχιεπίσκοπος Σωτήριος δοξολογεί τον Τρισάγιο Θεό για την μεγάλη αυτή ευλογία των νέων κληρικών. Συγχαίρει τους ιδίους και τους εύχεται καλή επιτυχία σε όλα. Ευχαριστεί τις οικογένειές τους.
