With pleasure I share the participation of my Club for UNESCO in Genoa, also at the Expo del ' Alta Val Trebbia, authentic showcase of tradition and how to make the beautiful valley characterized by steep and wooded rinals, typical of the Ligurian Apennines, and from the sinuous course of Trebbia that near Gorreto offers reckless canoists descent among picturesque meandri. A new formula has been rethought for this year and an idea to start again (from
Saturday 31th July and Sunday 1th August and Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th August! ))
Solo thanks to the great passion and abnegation of the Rescue volunteers together with the Loco Tourist Association, it was possible to set up the Val Trebbia Expo always with great concrete results. A particular applause goes to its creator and entertainer, Alessio Bianchi also our welcome club partner for UNESCO in Genoa.
In addition to Trebbia's great landscape impact, we report rich food tradition of so-called BIOVIA, the way to find high quality productions. BioVia is the experience of the territory, organic productions of the Genoese territory with which the valley exhibitors suggest high quality cheese and vegetables grown in a completely natural way... Stopping along BioVia brings you back to a world that should be preserved as a true garrison of the territory.
Ric and attractive also the Alta Val Trebbia Expo Cooking Show: cooking techniques for products typical of the territory of the Alta Val Trebbia, Our exhibitors will show us how local delicacies are produced...
Finally to reach the area of ′′ Our Flavors ", heart beating of Expo Alta Val Trebbia
In this area it was possible to find all the exhibitors of the Alta Val Trebbia and not, to know and taste the many products of the territory, from the renowned canestrelli produced in almost all the municipalities of the Valle (each with different techniques from each other), to mushrooms unique quality and fragrance porcini, honey, vegetables grown directly from farms, oil, beer, medieval wine, high quality salami that recall Piacenza tradition, cheeses with quality recognized by the Slow Food Presidi, great wines from Piacentini necks...
It was a great pleasure to be together with the Telegenoa crew to record the pleasant episodes of Bella Liguria together with the great Franco Native and cameraman Luigi Canu.
