Park Ex was once again host to the celebrations of the 75th Anniversary of India’s Independence Day! Thanks to the board of directors of India Canada Organisation and their volunteers the celebrations started with the flag hoisting by Naseer Média Khan and Gobind Tanwani and India’s High Commissioner. Followed by speeches and a rich cultural show! JAI HIND!

As stirring as many moments and oratory are in every year’s India Independence Day ceremony, including today seeing India-Canada Organization Chairman Naseer Mehdi Khan salute the unfurling of the Indian Flag, the happiest moments are the sweets given out in beautiful boxes and the remarkable dancers.
