After a year-long hiatus, Los Angeles Metropolitan Opera returns to invite you to visit places real and imaginary. Travel with us through music and image from Seville with Carmen, India with Lakmè and the imaginary Egyptian realm of The Magic Flute. Our time travel tour ends at the forest of early Gaul under Roman occupation with Norma, high priestess of the Druids.
LA Met will also present excerpts from Giulio Cesare in Egitto, our production that was by nominated by San Francisco Classical Voice for best opera performance of 2019.
