ο καθηγητής HARMUT LEPPIN του Τμήματος Αρχαίας Ιστορίας του Πανεπιστημίου της Φρανκφούρτης (Goethe-Universität)

Within the framework of the ongoing collaboration between the Benaki Museum / The Patrick and Joan Leigh Fermor House and the Center for Modern Greece (Centrum Modernes Griechenland / CeMoG) of the Freie Universität Berlin (FU Berlin),
Professor Hartmut Leppin,
Department of Ancient History, Goethe University Frankfurt (Goethe-Universität),
will give an online lecture
under the title
"From Robbery to the Pirate Empire: Pirates in Ancient Greece."

The lecture will be given in English, and it forms part of a conference organised by the Goethe University Frankfurt at The Leigh Fermor House.
