The Newcastle upon Tyne Bach Choir are proud to announce our first in-person concert since March 2020, with our performance of J.S Bach’s seasonal masterpiece ‘Christmas Oratorio’ in St. George’s church Jesmond at 19:30 on Saturday 20th November 2021.
Alongside the choir, the concert features soloists Mhairi Lawson (soprano), David Allsopp (alto), Tom Kelly (tenor) and Julien Van Mellaerts (baritone). Eric Cross will be conducting, and we will be accompanied by Newcastle Baroque.
Tickets are priced at £16-£20 (depending on where you sit in the church), with student/unwaged tickets for £8, and under 18s free, and can be purchased either directly from choir members or through our website. There may also be a small number of tickets available to purchase on the door on the night, but if you can, please book in advance to avoid disappointment.
