essWe worked selflessly to bring Genoa on the roof of Europe. We are Mediterranean Christmas, the new winter destination together with the Basque city of San Sebastian.
pWith the last Saturday before Christmas, as is tradition, we renew the appointment with the suggestive Confeugo ceremony, in a fascinating costume choreography for the centuries-old ritual, much loved by Genoans and shared as auspicious here for the new venture year.
premiWith my important participation held on December 17, 2022, at the television broadcaster Primo Canale, as a reference of the international project that brought Genoa to be awarded as the international capital of Christmas, abb Iamo conducted together with his Director Matteo Cantile and his great professionalism from the helm, a beautiful live show that accompanied the Genoese for more than two hours, from 16 to 18.15.
D Highlighting moment, after the arrival of the historic parade in Piazza De Ferrari, is the meeting between the abbot of the people and the mayor Marco Bucci, in the garb of the Doge, to which he was offered the traditional "Confeugo", a large bunch of twigs of that system in front of the entrance of Palazzo Ducale where he will come set on fire at the "Campanon de Päxo", the bell placed on the Grimaldina Tower.

.With our contribution this year we gave Genoa an international Christmas. A new destination that makes the Ligurian Capital more and more an extraordinary all-season destination with enormous potential. G Let us enjoy, therefore, the enlightened city in the European Capital, with its rich programming of events and activities that will accompany us uninterruptedly until the Epiphany and the multitude of its suggestive nativity. Hundreds of attractions and moments of sociality shared by Nervi a Voltri to make Genoa and its citizens happy.
