Anton Batagov - MusicAeterna - Дом Радио

Composer and pianist Anton Batagov will perform two solo concerts in the Radio House. On April 2, the public will hear the album ′′ Invisible Lands ", released last September, and on April 4, Franz Schubert's compositions included in the double album, which is expected to be released this April.

′′ Invisible Lands ′′ is a series of six plays written by Anton Batagov in different years, but later rethinked and united into one suite. ′′ I recorded it on a completely space piano Bosendorfer 280 VC says the composer. ′′ The recording seems to be able to convey all the sensations (directly physical) from traveling on this aircraft ". In addition, before the beginning of this program, two works of unknown English composers of the XVI century will be heard at the evening. ′′ What could be more appropriate to travel to invisible lands than music whose authors did not think possible (unlike us) to report their name?"
The performance of Schubert's music in the House of Radio will be a concert presentation of the album, in which, as if in the novel, the reader lives together with the hero different periods and episodes of his life. ′′ Schubert is the only composer of the XIX century that I never wanted to ′′ throw off the steamer of modernity ′′ - Anton Batagov admits. - My steamer sailed through different variations of this modern day, and Schubert's music always sounded like something very unseen and expressed in absolutely perfect shape. I want to come back to this music again and again. She doesn't get old and gets bored. I've always been amazed that Schubert is somehow the dependence between so-called classicism and so-called romanticism. He is too subjective to be classically flawless, and too restrained to be in the territory of romantic storms and impulses. He always stays somewhere away and goes completely alone on his endless winter journey ".
