Η Miki Yui και ο Mapstation επιστρέφουν στην Αθήνα για μια live εμφάνιση στο ΚΕΤ, την Τετάρτη 19 Φεβρουαρίου.

Σαν αρχαιολόγος του μη ακουστού, η Miki Yui δημιουργεί μοναδικά ηλεκτροακουστικά κομμάτια μέσω μινιμαλιστικών οργανικών ήχων. Με background στις καλές τέχνες, η Miki εξερευνά τις γκρίζες ζώνες της αντίληψης και της φαντασίας μας, στους τομείς της μουσικής, του σχεδίου, των installation και της performance. Από το 1999 είναι γνωστή για τη μοναδική μινιμαλιστική και οργανική της προσέγγιση στη μουσική. Από ένα λεπτό μικροσκοπικό σφύριγμα μέχρι ένα απόκοσμο βουητό, ηλεκτρονικοί ήχοι και field recordings υφαίνονται σε μουσική με αφηγηματική ένταση. Το 6ο σόλο άλμπουμ της MILLS κυκλοφόρησε από το label CUSP EDITIONS του Μάντσεστερ, το Μάιο του 2018.

Mapstation
Ο Mapstation (Stefan Schneider) είναι ιδρυτής της παγκόσμιας δισκογραφικής εταιρείας TAL και ιδρυτικό μέλος των συγκροτημάτων Kreidler (1994-99) και To Rococo Rot (1995-2014), ενώ έχει συνεργαστεί με καλλιτέχνες όπως οι Joachim Roedelius (Cluster), Dieter Moebius (Cluster), Klaus Dinger (Kraftwerk, Neu!), Hauschka, Katharina Grosse, και John McEntire (Tortoise). Στην περιοδεία του θα παρουσιάσει κομμάτια του νέου του άλμπουμ "Present Unmetrics".

Miki Yui
Like an archaeologist of the inaudible, Miki Yui investigates sounds and creates unique electro-acoustic pieces, layering minimal - organic sounds to dive in and get mesmerized. Miki Yui is an artist, composer, and musician based in Düsseldorf since 1994. She is crossing the boundary of music, performance, drawing, and installation. She investigates the grey zone of our perception, between the reality and the imaginary. Her work is shown worldwide.

Mapstation
Mapstation is the solo moniker of Stefan Schneider from Düsseldorf. He is the founder of the international working record label TAL and also the founding member of the bands Kreidler (1994-99) and To Rococo Rot (1995-2014). He has also collaborated with artists such as Joachim Roedelius (Cluster), Dieter (Cluster), Klaus Dinger (Kraftwerk, Neu!), Hauschka, Katharina Grosse, and John McEntire (Tortoise). On his tour he will present tracks of his new album "Present Unmetrics".
