The Street Music Project

Από τις 13 μέχρι τις 22 Σεπτεμβρίου, πραγματοποιήθηκε με επιτυχία το Street Music Project της Συμφωνικής Ορχήστρας Κύπρου. Πρόκειται για ένα καινοτόμο πρόγραμμα στη διάρκεια του οποίου οι μουσικοί της Συμφωνικής Ορχήστρας Κύπρου καθώς και φιλοξενούμενα σχήματα από τη μουσική σκηνή της Κύπρου, έδωσαν ζωή στους δρόμους των πόλεων του νησιού! Πάνω από 20 μουσικά σύνολα, αποτελούμενα από 80 και πλέον μουσικούς γέμισαν με μουσικό παλμό τους πολυσύχναστους δρόμους και πλατείες της Λευκωσίας, Λεμεσού, Λάρνακας και Πάφου. Ο κόσμος που τα συνάντησε απόλαυσε διάφορα είδη μουσικής από κλασική μουσική μέχρι τανγκό, μουσική κινηματογράφου, crossover, jazz, rock, και άλλα.
To Street Music Project πραγματοποιήθηκε σε συνεργασία με το Υφυπουργείο Τουρισμού και τέλεσε υπό την αιγίδα της Κυπριακής Εθνικής Επιτροπής UNESCO.
Το Ίδρυμα Συμφωνική Ορχήστρα Κύπρου ευχαριστεί θερμά το Υφυπουργείο Τουρισμού Χορηγό, το οποίο υπήρξε ο Χορηγός του Street Music Project, τους χορηγούς επικοινωνίας του project - Φιλελεύθερο και Active 107,4 καθώς επίσης και τον τηλεοπτικό χορηγό επικοινωνίας - το Ραδιοφωνικό Ίδρυμα Κύπρου.

The Street Music Project

The Street Music Project of the Cyprus Symphony Orchestra, a novel initiative, took place from the 13th to the 22nd of September. For 10 days, the musicians of the CySO, joined by guest ensembles from the music scene of the island, injected life into the city streets! Over 20 music ensembles, made up of more than 80 musicians filled with musical pulse major pedestrian streets and squares of Lefkosia, Lemesos, Larnaka and Pafos. People who came across them enjoyed various musical genres – from classical, to tango, film music, crossover, jazz, rock and other styles.
The Street Music Project took place in collaboration with the Deputy Ministry of Tourism, and has also been under the auspices of the Cyprus National Commission for UNESCO.
