From 21 to 29 September, Dom Radio hosts a series of open meetings for everyone with Claudia Castellucci.
One of the most important contemporary choreographers, Claudia Castellucci, is running a workshop for professional dancers at Dom Radio in St. Petersburg, musicAeterna’s home venue. The parallel open meetings programme invites everyone to learn about Claudia Castellucci’s method and explore the rhythmic and existential nature of dance. The sessions do not require any special preparation.
21 September. Decalogue of Directing. Romeo Castellucci and Claudia Castellucci will articulate ten rules of directing.
22 September. Celebration of Historical Gestures, a hands-on session exploring everyday gestures.
25-26 September. A two-part workshop on ekphrasis, the practice of verbal describing works of art.
28 September. The concept of grace in: On The Marionette Theatre by Heinrich von Kleist.
29 September. The Art of Smoke, a hands-on session where participants will practice drawing smoke.
