RCO "Noteworthy Novelties" FREE Concert at St John's University

 


"Noteworthy Novelties" when was the last time you when to a concert and heard "Nessun dorma" played on a trombone? "The Flight of the Bumblebee" played on a Harmonica or better yet " Ave Maria" played on a the Saw? Nonetheless on Sunday July 21th 4pm on the Queens campus of St John's University rain or shine this FREE concert will happen and you're all invited. Accompanied by the Richmond County Orchestra conducted by Maestro Alan Aurelia, thanks to St John's University who along with the RCO feels we need a little humor these days. This program will be narrated by Joseph Sciame who has been @ St John's for 61 years and in a way this concert is a thank you to Joe. Also composer Edward Green will say a few words about his piece.
