Τελετή απονομής του Μεταλλίου Lord Byron σε απογόνους

 Η τελετή θα λάβει χώρα στις 7 Ιουλίου 2021, στις 19.00, στο Μουσείο Φιλελληνισμού.

Η Εταιρεία για τον Ελληνισμό και Φιλελληνισμό (ΕΕΦ – www.eefshp.org) οργανώνει τελετή εγκαινίων του Μουσείου Φιλελληνισμού (www.phmus.org).

Την ημέρα των εγκαινίων θα λάβει χώρα μία τελετή κατά την οποία η ΕΕΦ και το Μουσείο Φιλελληνισμού θα απονείμει το μετάλλιο του Λόρδου Βύρωνος και τιμητικό δίπλωμα, σε 15 απογόνους σημαντικών Φιλελλήνων που βοήθησαν την Ελλάδα κατά τη διάρκεια της Επανάστασης.

• Γαλλία: Charles Nicolas Fabvier, Pasquale Gambini, Jean-François Maxime Raybaud, Olivier Voutier
• Γερμανία: Wilhelm Bellier de Launoy, Heinrich Treiber
• Ελβετία: Jean-Gabriel Eynard, Henri Fornèsy
• ΗΠΑ: Dr. Samuel Gridley Howe, Julia Ward Howe
• Ιταλία: Giuseppe Chiappe , Michele Gramsi
• Ηνωμένο Βασίλειο: Frank Abney Hastings

Επίσης θα βραβευθούν 4 καθηγητές Πανεπιστημίου από Ισπανία, Πολωνία και Ηνωμένο Βασίλειο, και ένας διπλωμάτης από το Βέλγιο, που έχουν ασχοληθεί με τον Φιλελληνισμό και βοήθησαν στην καταγραφή των βιογραφιών των Φιλελλήνων.

Στην τελετή θα συμμετέχει ο Υπουργός Εξωτερικών κ. Δένδιας (το ΥΠΕΞ έχει θέσει τις δράσεις της ΕΕΦ υπό την αιγίδα του), η Υπουργός Πολιτισμού κα Μενδώνη, ο Υφυπουργός Εξωτερικών κ. Βλάσης, ο Υφυπουργός Εθνικής Αμύνης Στρατηγός Στεφανής, ο Περιφερειάρχης Αττικής κ. Πατούλης, ο Γενικός Γραμματέας της Ακαδημίας Αθηνών κ. Ζερεφός, οι πρέσβεις των ΗΠΑ, Ηνωμένου Βασιλείου, Γαλλίας, Γερμανίας, Ελβετίας, Ιταλίας, Βελγίου, Ισπανίας και Πολωνίας, εκπρόσωποι της Ευρωπαϊκής Επιτροπής, του Ευρωπαϊκού Κοινοβουλίου, κλπ.

The Lord Byron Medal Award Ceremony to descendants of Philhellenes
who fought for Greece during the Revolution of 1821

The ceremony will take place on July 7, 2021, at 19.00, at the Museum of Philhellenism.

The Society for Hellenism and Philhellenism (SHP - www.eefshp.org) organizes an opening ceremony of the Philhellenism Museum (www.phmus.org).

On the opening day, a ceremony will take place during which the SHP and the Philhellenism Museum will award the Lord Byron medal and an honorary diploma to 15 descendants of important Philhellenes who supported Greece during the Greek Revolution.

The ceremony will be attended by the Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr. Dendias (SHP´s actions are under the auspices of the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs), the Minister of Culture Ms. Mendoni, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr. Vlassis, the Regional Governor of Attica Mr. Patoulis, the Secretary General of the Academy of Athens Mr. Zerefos, the Ambassadors of the USA, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Belgium, Spain and Poland, as well as Representatives of the European Commission, the European Parliament, etc.
