CONCERT AT THE DRAPETSONAS THEATER IN KASTRAKI WITH WORKS BY THE INTERNATIONALLY FAMOUS COMPOSER PANAGIOTIS KAROUSOS

Greeting-presentation: Ioannis Maronitis, president Club of the Piraeus and Islands UNESCO and the international organization International Action Art

Wonderful songs by the composer Panagiotis Karousos, poems set to music by K. Palamas, I. Polemi, G. Ritso, G. Drosini, Lord Byron and others were presented. Caryatids (John Polemis), Parthenon (Costis Palamas), The Enchanted Fountain (Costas Crystallis), The Poet (Dimitris Iatropoulos), Daughter of Athens (Lord Byron), Metarsiosis (Nikephoros Brettakos), Orphic Hymn to Aphrodite, arias of Hermes ( Aeschylus' Prometheus Bound), Achilles' aria (Homer's Iliad).

Great Greek opera singers participated: Rhea Voudouri (soprano), Yannos Kotzias (tenor), Maria Kioroglou (soprano). Piano: Christiana Manou

Recitations of poems: Dr. Anastasios Koutsoukos, Papadatou Sofia (Lieutenant General), Roula Kavakioti, Papadatou Charitini (Student of Polytechnic University), Zoe Nasika (professor of Social Policy and Philosophy). Artistic direction: Panagiotis Karousos, music composer.
