Valia Tsirgioti: The beauty of music is the diversity of the interpretation that everyone gives. Ever since I can remember, expressing myself through music has been an inner need. I started by getting information from different sources, such as the traditional Byzantine music, the folk sounds, the rebetika and the Smyrnaean. At the end the music I feel is one, having made a small circle with songs I continue writing my own. In the diversity of music we find so many common feelings.
