In the majestic frame of the Sala delle Compere di Palazzo San Giorgio the works of the 52nd National Selection Conference promoted by the Association European Parliament Young (EYP) have concluded with the great institutional and logistical support of my Municipality of Genoa.

delle️ Five days of thematic tables and high-level meetings within the institutions of Palazzo Tursi, Palazzo Albini and Palazzo San Giorgio.

At the event in Genoa, which represents one of the two national sessions for this year, more than 150 young people from all over Italy and 50 European delegates have taken part who will compete on interdisciplinary skills, with the objective of becoming aware citizens of the future, able to form an independent thought and argue critically one's own positions.

è️The event in Genoa focused on sustainable trade in an increasingly interconnected world, with particular attention to social cohesion and the contact between very different identities and cultures.

Cer With pleasure I participated in the last working day and I had the honor of taking part in the Closing Ceremony together with the MEPs who sent me a thematic speech on the role of “culture awareness” for young people and “global citizenship”.

An appointment of such great importance that makes Genoa increasingly international and a crossroads of tourist, cultural and institutional convenience destination.
