Kepler is Free
To ντεμπούτο τους Teegarden, η δική τους νεωτερική jazz πρόταση, πατούσε με το ένα πόδι στην ηλιόλουστη soul-jazz των 70s και με το άλλο στο εναλλακτικό hip hop (κυρίως) των 90s, έχοντας κάνει τις απαραίτητες ενημερώσεις από τη σύγχρονη πειραματική electronica. Στα Jazz Chronicles θα δούμε πώς εξελίχθηκαν στον δεύτερο δίσκο τους που είναι έτοιμος να κυκλοφορήσει. Όπως το τηλεσκόπιο του Kepler εκτοξεύθηκε από τη NASA για να ανακαλύψει πλανήτες στο μέγεθος της γης και μόλις εκπλήρωσε την αποστολή του αφέθηκε ελεύθερο στο διάστημα, μένει να δούμε τι επιφυλάσσουν και οι Kepler is Free τώρα που είναι ακόμα πιο ώριμοι κι ελεύθεροι να χαθούν στα ηχητικά μονοπάτια που επέλεξαν.

It is constantly renewing its audience, attracting new believers.
Seeing jazz as a “music of the here and now,” the SNFCC’s Jazz Chronicles concert series returns to the Lighthouse, hosting concerts by domestic bands who are asserting that “jazz is striking back”.
Kepler is Free:
Their debut album -a modernist jazz proposition- “Teegarden”, had one foot in the sunny soul-jazz of the ’70s and another in alternate hip hop of (mainly) the ’90s, properly updated through modern experimental electronica. In Jazz Chronicles, we will be witnessing how they evolved in their second album, due to be released soon. Much like the Kepler space telescope that was launched by NASA to discover Earth-size planets and was released in space upon completing its mission, we are looking forward to discovering what Kepler is Free have in store for us, now that they are more mature and free to roam about the sound paths of their choice.
