The 8th Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF) Conference will take place from June 24th to June 25th, 2019. The theme of the 2019 SNF Conference is [Untitled]. We hope to move past labels, boundaries and conventions and invite unexpected and unconventional thinking from speakers from distinct areas, approaches, cultures, ethnicities and geographical spaces, in order to examine issues not as experts but as thinkers.

The conference schedule will be updated as soon as new information becomes available.

In addition to the conference, on June 26th, 2019, Johns Hopkins University will co-organize the 2nd SNF Agora Institute Workshop as part of SNF’s monthly DIALOGUES series. The workshop, “Talking (and Listening) Across Divides”, will explore what experience and science can teach us about the requirements for productive dialogue and engagement.

The SNF Conference as well as the SNF Agora Institute Workshop are taking place as part of the Summer Nostos Festival 2019, an international multifaceted arts, sports and education festival organized by the SNF at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center.

Admission to the SNF Conference and the SNF Agora Institute Workshop is free for all and open to the public with pre-registration. Additional information regarding pre-registration will be made available in the following weeks.

Το 8ο Συνέδριο του Ιδρύματος Σταύρος Νιάρχος (ΙΣΝ) θα πραγματοποιηθεί από τις 24 έως τις 25 Ιουνίου. Το θέμα του Συνεδρίου για το 2019 είναι [Untitled]. Θέλουμε να ξεπεράσουμε τις γραμμικές, παραδοσιακές, ασφαλείς προσεγγίσεις και στην πορεία να προσπαθήσουμε να εισαγάγουμε ένα νέο τρόπο σκέψης και αναζήτησης.

Το πρόγραμμα του συνεδρίου θα ανανεώνεται διαρκώς.

Στις 26 Ιουνίου, το Πανεπιστήμιο Johns Hopkins συνδιοργανώνει τη 2η Ημερίδα του SNF Agora Institute με τίτλο “Talking (and Listening) Across Divides”, στο πλαίσιο της μηνιαίας σειράς του ΙΣΝ ΔΙΑΛΟΓΟΙ. Η ημερίδα έχει στόχο να διερευνήσει όλα όσα μπορούν να μας διδάξουν η εμπειρία και οι επιστήμες για τις προϋποθέσεις που επιτρέπουν τον παραγωγικό και δημοκρατικό διάλογο και τη συμμετοχή στα κοινά.

Το Συνέδριο του ΙΣΝ και η Ημερίδα του SNF Agora Institute πραγματοποιούνται στο πλαίσιο του Summer Nostos Festival 2019, ένα διεθνές πολυσυλλεκτικό φεστιβάλ τέχνης, αθλητισμού και εκπαίδευσης, που διοργανώνει το ΙΣΝ στο Κέντρο Πολιτισμού Ίδρυμα Σταύρος Νιάρχος.

Η συμμετοχή στο Συνέδριο και την Ημερίδα είναι δωρεάν και ανοιχτή προς το κοινό με προεγγραφή. Αναλυτικές πληροφορίες για τους τρόπους εγγραφής θα είναι διαθέσιμες το επόμενο διάστημα.
