This year's Lenten concert will showcase an exquisite selection of hymns and compositions, performed by our esteemed Cathedral Choir and vibrant Youth Choir accompanied by the Cathedral Orchestra. Highlighting the evening will be the choral finale "Τη Υπερμάχω" from the symphony Levendia by Manolis Kalomiris, a piece that embodies the spirit of Greek culture and heritage. This performance promises to be a poignant tribute to the timeless beauty of Orthodox music and tradition.
Under the distinguished leadership of Maestro Costas Tsourakis, Director of Music, alongside Hilary Baboukis, Associate Director of Music, and Dawn Helene, Accompanist/Organist, this concert is an opportunity to witness the transformative power of music.
Your attendance not only guarantees an evening of unparalleled musical artistry but also supports a noble cause. All proceeds from the concert will benefit the Archdiocesan Cathedral Choir & Youth Choir, fostering the next generation of musicians and singers within our community.
The evening will conclude with a light Lenten reception in the Cathedral Chiotes Hall, where you can enjoy fellowship and refreshments
