Società dei Concerti Trieste celebrates 55 years of the Orchestra Ferruccio Busoni -Trieste

The program was chosen to pay threefold tribute to friendship and artistic collaboration: the one between Viotti and Cherubini born in the years when both were professionally engaged in Paris where they even shared housing;
The one between Massimo Belli, the Busoni Orchestra and the Society of Concerts in Trieste dating back to the debut as a solo violinist of the then sixteen-year-old Massimo Belli, thanks to the Society of Trieste Concerts and the one between Massimo Belli and the violinist Massimo Quarta, winner of the Paganini prize of Genoa in 1991, the first Italian to achieve it after Salvatore Accardo, which began when both attended Fiesole and Cremona courses at the Stauffer Academy under the leadership of the Salvatore Accardo.
