    A siren’s song. Rusalka, a water dweller, has fallen in love with a land-living Prince. With the help of the witch Ježibaba, Rusalka becomes human but will be damned if betrayed by her husband. On their wedding day, the Prince abandons Rusalka for a foreign princess…

KELLY KADUCE (USA) – RUSALKA
A winner of the prestigious Metropolitan Opera auditions, Kelly Kaduce has swiftly gained prominence on stages in the United States, South America, and Europe. She has created roles in many world premieres, including the title role in Anna Karenina with Florida Grand Opera and Saint Louis Opera, also the title role in Jane Eyre; and Rosasharn in The Grapes Of Wrath with Minnesota Opera. She has performed with Santa Fe Opera as Cio-Cio San in Madama Butterfly and Princess Lan in The First Emperor, and made her New York City Opera debut as Gretel in Humperdinck’s opera. In Malmo, Sweden, she has portrayed Mimì, Violetta, and Marguerite (faust), and at Teatro municipal de Santiago (Chile), she sang the title role in Suor Angelica. Company debut.
