"PROMETHEUS BOUND"
Prometheus Bound based on the tragedy written by Aeschylus will premier on May 29th 2024 for only 10 performances, every Wednesday at 20.00, May 29th to July 31st 2024.
The melodic opera accompanies Prometheus on his journey of independence and enlightenment, and infused with romanticism and lyrical exuberance, transporting the listener into a magical mysterious world.
The myth of Prometheus, always current and instructive, brings man face to face with the dilemma of rebellion against tyrannical power in any historical era, and the destructive effect of passive attitudes. The rebellious Prometheus is the first known individual who rebelled against the authorities for the sake of the people, rebelling against the power of Zeus who was trying to exterminate the human race.
Prometheus Bound premiered in Montreal, Canada in 1994 and was performed intermittently in New York, Washington DC and Paris.

Theatre of The NO- Background: A new English-speaking theatre opened on 18th April 2024 in the centre of Athens, with the production «Waiting For Godot» by S.Beckett. A theatre that embraces diversity and creativity, welcoming new writers and creators from Greece and around the world to share their voices on our stage.
Theatre of the NO, will stage two operas in its 2024 season and three new operas in its 2025 season, placing a spotlight on new and upcoming opera composers and exposing young audiences to that wonderful form of art.
All shows start at 20:00 the audience is requested to arrive one hour before performances to meet the creative staff as well as other audience members.
