AHC Members participate in Leadership 100 Conference in Dana Point, CA

Members of the AHC actively participated at the 22nd Annual Leadership 100 Conference that took place at The Ritz-Carlton in Dana Point, California the first weekend of February 2012.

Keynote speakers at the event included Jim Gianopulos, Chairman & Chief Executive Officer of Twentieth Century Fox Film, who presented a memorable audio-visual show on "Hollywood and Hellenism", Fr. John Bakas, renowned Dean of Saint Sophia Cathedral in Los Angeles, Alexander Payne, the award-winning film director, screenwriter and producer, Nia Vardalos, the Canadian-American actress best known for the Academy Award nominated screenwriter, actor, director and producer, Michael S. Johnson, pioneering petroleum geologist and Mary J. Mitchell of Omaha, Nebraska, the author of Drawn to Fashion.

The events throughout the weekend were very well attended with His Eminence Archbishop Demetrios of America, Metropolitan Gerasimos of San Francisco and Chair of the Foreign Relations Committee Ed Royce (R-CA) in attendance.

As part of the weekend, AHC Benefactors George & Bettina Kallins hosted a L100 Young Professionals event at the Capri Laguna Inn that attracted young members of the organization for a relaxing evening overlooking the Pacific Ocean.
