Opera for Peace Academy 2023, Paris

What an incredible Summer Season for our artists of the Opera for Peace Academy 2023, Paris! Here is a focus on the singers that took part in the following noteworthy productions:

* María Belén Rivarola as Ines in “Il trovatore” alongside Anita Rachvelishvili & Anna Netrebko. “María Belén Rivarola as Inés, demonstrates her usual skill in a short role, admirably merging her voice with a solvent stage presence.” –By Battaglia News
* Marta Pluda - mezzosoprano in “Aureliano in Palmira” at the Rossini Opera Festival in Pesaro
* Matteo Ivan Rasic as Andonis in “The Greek Passion” at the Salzburger Festspiele 2023
* Raúl Gutiérrez in the main male role as Werther (“Werther”) at the Bregenz Festival. “Raúl Gutiérrez develops more and more presence as Werther, he manages the difficult role well and convinces with fine piano tones in the death scene.” -Schwäbische Zeitung
* Axelle Saint-Cirel with a concert at the Arènes de Montmartre, Paris as part of Les Arènes Lyriques Festival. “Axelle Saint-Cirel, winner of the Voix des Outre-Mer 2023 competition, entices as well: the tone captivates immediately, and the singing is honest and constantly careful.” -Première Loge
Well done also to Ihor Mostovoi for his role in Poulenc's “Dialogues des Carmélites” at Opéra National de Bordeaux and best wishes to Lulama Taifasi for starting his new position at Basel Opera with various upcoming shows in progress, Nikita Volkov for his ca. 10 roles at Bayerische Staatsoper next year, Marta Pluda’s upcoming Isabella in “L'italiana in Algeri” at Wexford Festival Opera, and María Belén Rivarola’s Hanna Glawari in “Die lustige Witwe” at Teatro Colón at the end of September.
We are proud to work with these talented singers whom we had the pleasure of offering our guidance to at this year’s Opera for Peace Acadamy 2023!
