A. ΠΝΕΥΜΑΤΙΚΗ ΠΡΟΟΔΟΣ
Στην Ιερά Μητρόπολη Τορόντο (Καναδά), οι Ελληνικές Ορθόδοξες Κοινότητες από είκοσι δύο (22) έγιναν εβδομήντα επτά (77) και ιδρύθηκαν τα κάτωθι:
- Ετήσιες Συνελεύσεις Νεολαίας.
- Μηνιαία Ελληνορθόδοξη Εφημερίδα «Ορθόδοξη Πορεία».
- Κοινωνικές Υπηρεσίες.
- Στέγες για τους αστέγους.
- Εβδομαδιαίο Τηλεοπτικό Πρόγραμμα «Ορθόδοξη Φωνή» (μεταδίδεται σε ολόκληρο τον Καναδά).
- Σχολή Βυζαντινής Μουσικής (Toronto, Hamilton, Montreal, Winnipeg, Calgary, Vancouver, Regina).
- Ιερές Μονές, Πατροκοσμά στο Τορόντο και Παρηγορήτισσας στο Μόντρεαλ (περισσότερες από 40 μοναχές).
- Οργανισμός Ελληνορθόδοξης Παιδείας (Ημερήσια Ελληνορθόδοξα σχολεία, Παιδικοί Σταθμοί).
- Οίκοι Ευγηρίας.
- Πατριαρχική Ορθόδοξη Θεολογική Ακαδημία Τορόντο.
- Θερινές Κατασκηνώσεις «Μεταμόρφωσις» (συγκρότημα θερινών κατοικιών και κατασκηνώσεων).
- Πολιτιστικό Κέντρο Ιεράς Μητρόπολης.
- Διαδίκτυο και Μέσα Κοινωνικής Δικτύωσης (Website, You Tube, Twitter, Facebook)
Β. ΥΛΙΚΗ ΠΡΟΟΔΟΣ
1. Kingston, Ontario: Έκταση χιλίων διακοσίων (1200) στρεμ. με μία λίμνη στη μέση, σαράντα (40) στρεμ., με πέντε (5) είδη ψαριών και καθαρό πόσιμο νερό που στο μέλλον μπορεί να γίνει εργοστάσιο εμφιάλωσης νερού.
2. Peterborough, Ontario: Έκταση εκατόν εξήντα (160) στρεμ. στις όχθες ωραιοτάτης λίμνης, (στην ουσία είναι τρεις (3) διαφορετικές περιουσίες), με δώδεκα (12) θερινές κατοικίες, δέκα επτά (17) τροχόσπιτα και άλλα οικήματα. Όλα αυτά ενοικιάζονται.
3. Belleville, Ontario: Έκταση εξήντα (60) στρεμ. πάνω στις όχθες ωραιοτάτης λίμνης με δέκα επτά (17) κτίρια τα οποία χρησιμοποιούνται για τις θερινές και χειμερινές κατασκηνώσεις της Ι.Μ. Τορόντο. Τα κτίρια έχουν κλιματισμό και θέρμανση.
4. Oshawa, Ontario: Οικόπεδο είκοσι τεσσάρων (24) στρεμ. με Ιερό Ναό, μεγάλο σχολείο και πολιτιστικό κέντρο.
5. Markham, Ontario: (Πόλη μεγάλη, συνέχεια της πόλης του Τορόντο). Οικόπεδο πενήντα έξι (56) στρεμ. με Ι. Ναό βυζαντινού ρυθμού, νεόκτιστο, χωρητικότητας οκτακοσίων πενήντα (850) καθημένων, οικία, πολιτιστικό κέντρο και άλλα οικήματα.
6. Toronto: Μητροπολιτκό Μέγαρο σε οικόπεδο πέντε (5) στρεμ. Τετραόροφο κτίριο στο κέντρο της πόλης σε ωραιότατη τοποθεσία, συνολικού εμβαδού τριών χιλιάδων πεντακοσίων (3.500) τ.μ. Στους δύο πρώτους ορόφους στεγάζεται η Πατριαρχική Ορθόδοξη Θεολογική Ακαδημία Τορόντο.
Στον πρώτο όροφο στεγάζεται ο Ι. Ναός Αγ. Ιωάννου του Θεολόγου, χωρητικότητας εκατόν ογδόντα (180) καθημένων, αίθουσα δεξιώσεων όπου δύναται να παρατεθεί δείπνο για εκατό (100) ανθρώπους, μεγάλη κουζίνα, τραπεζαρία φοιτητών και βιβλιοθήκη στην οποία υπάρχουν δώδεκα χιλιάδες (12.000) τόμοι βιβλίων.
Στον δεύτερο όροφο υπάρχουν είκοσι τέσσερα (24) υπνοδωμάτια, τέσσερις (4) αίθουσες διδασκαλίας, δύο (2) αίθουσες αναψυχής, γυμναστήριο και δωμάτιο ηλεκτρονικών υπολογιστών.
Στον τρίτο όροφο υπέρχουν πέντε (5) ωραιότατα διαμερίσματα, αποθήκη μεγάλη και τεράστιο χώρο για μουσείο, το οποίο πρόκειται σύντομα να αρχίσει να γίνεται.
Στον τέταρτο όροφο στεγάζονται τα γραφεία της Ι. Μητρόπολης και θαυμάσιο διαμέρισμα το οποίο είναι κατοικία του Μητροπολίτη.
Χώρος σταθμεύσεως αυτοκινήτων εξήντα (60) αυτοκινήτων σε δύο ορόφους.
7. Toronto: Οικόπεδο δέκα (10) στρεμ. όπου ευρίσκεται ο Ι. Ναός Αγ. Νικολάου, βυζαντινού ρυθμού νεόδμητος, χωρητικότητας εξακοσίων πεντακοσίων (650) καθημένων, πολιτιστικό κέντρο, νηπιαγωγεία και σχολεία.
8. Toronto: Οικόπεδο δώδεκα (12) στρεμ. με Ι. Ναό Μεταμόρφωσης του Σωτήρος, αίθουσα δεξιώσεων και Νηπιαγωγείο.
9. Toronto: Οικόπεδο δύο (2) στρεμ. με Ι.Ναό Αγ. Τριάδος, χωρητικότητας τριακοσίων (300) ατόμων.
10. Toronto: Οικόπεδο δώδεκα (12) στρεμ. με ημερήσιο σχολείο, χωρητικότητας πεντακοσίων (500) μαθητών.
11. Toronto: Πολυκατοικία σαράντα επτά (47) διαμερισμάτων. Αποπληρώνεται το έτος 2021 και μετά ταύτα όλα τα έσοδα θα ανήκουν στην Ι.Μ. Τορόντο.
12. Mississauga: (Πόλη συνορεύουσα με την πόλη του Τορόντο, όπου ευρίσκεται το διεθνές αεροδρόμιο). Οικόπεδο δέκα τεσσάρων (14) στρεμ. με Ι. Ναό Προφήτου Ηλιού, βυζαντινού ρυθμού, χωρητικότητας χιλίων (1000) καθημένων, αίθουσα δεξιώσεν, δέκα (10) σχολικές αίθουσες, αποθήκη δύο χιλιάδων πεντακοσίων (2.500) τ.μ., η οποία ενοικιάζεται. Στην οροφή της αποθήκης φωτοβολταϊκά τα οποία επιφέρουν κέρδος εκατόν είκοσι χιλιάδων (120.000) δολ. ετησίως.
13. Barrie, Ontario: Οικόπεδο είκοσι πέντε (25) στρεμ., με μικρό Ι. Ναό, μικρή αίθουσα δεξιώσεων, αλλά και μεγάλο νεκροταφείο.
14. King City, Ontario: (Πενήντα (50) χλμ βορείως του δημαρχείου του Τορόντο). Οικόπεδο διακοσίων (200) στρεμ. Στεγάζεται η Ι. Μονή Αγ. Πατροκοσμά. Υπάρχει Ι. Ναός, κτίριο στο οποίο στεγάζονται οι μοναχές, μικρός ξενώνας και ένα άλλο τεράστιο κτίριο, δύο χιλιάδων πεντακοσίων (2.500) τ.μ., το οποίο χρησιμοποιείται σαν εργαστήρια. Το κτήμα αυτό είναι τεραστίας αξίας σήμερα, αλλά σε λίγα χρόνια θα είναι ανυπολογίστου αξίας.
15. Chatham, Quebec: Έκταση χιλίων (1000) στρεμ. με Ι. Ναό, κτίριο που στεγάζει τα κελλιά των μοναζουσών, βοηθητικούς χώρους, έκθεση εργοχείρων και τυροκομική μονάδα (εργοστάσιο παραγωγής τυρών).
16. Διαθήκη Κλεάνθη Μίσσιου: Ο Άρχων Κλεάνθης Μίσσιος άφησε τα περιουσιακά του στοιχεία στην Ιερά μας Μητρόπολη, με την διαθήκη του, η οποία ακόμη δεν έχει επικυρωθεί από τις καναδικές αρχές, αξίας πολλών εκατομμυρίων δολαρίων.
Όλα τα ανωτέρω είναι περιουσιακά στοιχεία τις Ι.Μ. Τορόντο τα οποία απεκτήθησαν από τότε που ο Καναδάς έγινε Ιερά Μητρόπολη, απευθείας υπαγομένη στο Οικουμενικό Πατριαρχείο, δηλαδή από το έτος 1996.
Όλες αυτές οι περιουσίες είναι εγγεγραμμένες στο όνομα της Ιεράς Μητρόπολης και είναι γνωστό, ότι το Καταστατικό της Ι. Μ. ορίζει, ότι δεν δύνανται να γίνουν αλλαγές παρά μόνον με την έγγραφη έγκριση του Οικουμενικού Πατριαρχείου.

A. SPIRITUAL PROGRESS
In the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Toronto (Canada), from twenty two (22) Greek Οrthodox Communities, there are now seventy-seven (77) Greek Orthodox Communities that have been established. Aslo, the following programs have been established:
- Annual Youth Assemblies.
- Monthly newspaper “Orthodox Way”.
- Social Services.
- Homes for the homeless.
- Weekly television program “Orthodox Voice” (broadcast across all of Canada).
- School of Byzantine Music (Toronto, Hamilton, Montreal, Winnipeg, Calgary, Vancouver, Regina).
- Convents of St. Kosmas of Aitolos in Ontario and the Virgin Mary of Consolation in Quebec (more than 40 nuns).
- Greek Orthodox Education (Greek Orthodox Day Schools, Child Care Centres).
- Homes for the Aged.
- Patriarchal Toronto Orthodox Theological Academy.
- Summer Camps “Metamorphosis” (resort and camps).
- Metropolis Cultural Centre.
- Internet and Social Media Ministries (Website, You Tube, Twitter, Facebook).
B. MATERIAL PROGRESS
1. Kingston, Ontario: Three hundred (300) acres of land with a pond in the middle, ten (10) acres wide, with five (5) species of fish and clean drinking water which in the future can become a bottling plant.
2. Peterborough, Ontario: Forty (40) acres of land on the banks of a beautiful lake (which is essentially three (3) different properties), with twelve (12) summer residences, seventeen (17) caravans and other lodgings. All these are being rented.
3. Belleville, Ontario: Fifteen (15) acres of land on the banks of a beautiful lake with seventeen (17) buildings used for the summer and winter camps of the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Toronto. The buildings have air conditioning and heating.
4. Oshawa, Ontario: Six (6) acres of land with a church, large school and cultural center.
5. Markham, Ontario: (Large municipality extending from the city of Toronto). Fourteen (14) acres of land with a Byzantine-style church, newly built, having an eight hundred and fifty (850) seating capacity, along with a residence, cultural center and other buildings.
6. Toronto: Metropolis headquarters on a plot of one and a quarter (1.25) acres. Four-storey building in the center of the city, in a beautiful location, with a total area of three thousand five hundred (3,500) square meters. The Toronto Patriarchal Orthodox Theological Academy is housed on the first two floors.
The Church of Saint John the Theologian is located on the ground floor, with a capacity of one hundred and eighty (180) seats, along with a banquet hall for one hundred (100) persons, a large kitchen, a dining room for students and a library in which there are twelve thousand (12,000) volumes of books.
On the second floor, there are twenty-four (24) bedrooms, four (4) classrooms, two (2) leisure rooms, a gym and a computer room.
On the third floor there are five (5) beautiful apartments, a storage room and a large space for a museum which will be soon developed.
The offices of the Greek Orthodox Metropolis as well as a wonderful apartment, which serves as the residence of the Metropolitan, are located on the fourth floor.
There is parking for sixty (60) cars on two floors.
7. Toronto: Two and a half (2.5) acres of land where the church of Saint Nicholas is located, newly built in Byzantine style, with a seating capacity of six hundred and fifty (650) persons, along with a cultural center, kindergartens and schools.
8. Toronto: Three (3) acres of land with the Church of the Metamorphosis of Christ, a reception hall and a kindergarten.
9. Toronto: Half (0.5) an acre of land with the Church of the Holy Trinity, with a capacity of three hundred (300) persons.
10. Toronto: Three (3) acres of land where the day school is located, with a capacity for five hundred (500) students.
11. Toronto: Apartment building with forty-seven (47) apartments. It will be paid off in the year 2021 and then all revenues will be paid to the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Toronto (Canada).
12. Mississauga: (City adjacent to the city of Toronto, where the international airport is located). Plot of three and a half (3.5) acres, with the Church of the Prophet Elias, in Byzantine style, with a seating capacity of one thousand (1,000) persons, along with a small guest house, ten (10) classrooms, and a warehouse of two thousand five hundred (2,500) square meters, which is rented. On the roof of the warehouse, photovoltaic cells net a profit of one hundred and twenty thousand dollars ($120,000) per year.
13. Barrie, Ontario: Six and one quarter (6.25) acres with a small church, a small reception hall, and a large cemetery.
14. King City, Ontario: (Fifty (50) km north of Toronto City Hall). Fifty (50) acres of land housing the Monastery of Saint Kosmas. There is a church, a building in which the nuns are housed, a small guest house and another large building with a surface area of two thousand five hundred (2,500) square meters which is used for workshops. This estate is of enormous value today, but in a few years it will be of incalculable value.
15. Chatham, Quebec: Two hundred and fifty (250) acres of land with a church, a building housing the nuns’ cells, auxiliary spaces, a showroom and a licensed cheese factory.
16. Will of Kleanthis Missios: Archon Kleanthis Missios left his assets to our Greek Orthodox Metropolis through his will, which has not yet been probated by the authorities, but worth many millions dollars.
All of the above are assets of the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Toronto (Canada) that have been acquired since the Church in Canada became a Metropolis in 1996, under the direct jurisdiction of the Ecumenical Patriarchate.
All these properties are registered in the name of the Greek Orthodox Metropolis, and as the constituting documents of the Greek Orthodox Metropolis provide for, no changes in ownership can be made except with the written consent of the Ecumenical Patriarchate.
