Το σεμινάριο Contact Improvisation and Acrobatic Partnering με τον Günter Klingler, αποτελεί μέρος του International Research Theatre Laboratory - OSMOSIS, το οποίο θα διεξαχθεί στο πλαίσιο του 13th HRTFest.
Πρόκειται για ένα δεκαήμερο, διεθνές εργαστήριο με εισηγητές του θεάτρου και των παραστατικών τεχνών από όλο τον κόσμο (Ελλάδα, Ιταλία, Γερμανία, Πολωνία, Δανία, Η.Π.Α.), το οποίο θα καταλήξει στη δημιουργία της ομώνυμης παράστασης, Osmosis - The Performance: ένα ανοιχτό παν-καλλιτεχνικό jam με τη σκηνοθετική υπογραφή της Fabrica Athens, το οποίο θα σφραγίσει τη τελετή λήξης του Φεστιβάλ.

Περιγραφή Εργαστηρίου:
Εμβαθύνοντας στις βασικές αρχές του CI, θα εξετάσουμε τα στοιχεία της ακροβατικής συνεργασίας. Αρχικά, δουλεύοντας μέσα στην δική μας έρευνα κίνησης, θα επεκτείνουμε την εξερεύνηση ώστε να αλληλεπιδράσουμε με άλλα σώματα. Η ερευνητική εργασία μεταξύ ακροβατικών, οι αρχές CI και η σύγχρονη φρασεολογία μας προετοιμάζουν να αντιδράσουμε γρήγορα και δημιουργικά σε νέες και απαιτητικές καταστάσεις και να προσφέρουμε ελαφρότητα σε έναν χορό με κοινό βάρος.
Ο Günter εργάζεται με μια οργανική προσέγγιση από «μέσα προς τα έξω». Κεντρικά στοιχεία είναι η χρήση της αναπνοής και η συνεχής όξυνση της επίγνωσής μας. Ένα συνεχές ερώτημα στην πρακτική του είναι πώς μπορούμε να χορεύουμε με μέγιστη παρουσία και ατομικότητα και σεβασμό και ταυτόχρονα να αμφισβητούμε τα όρια του σώματός μας.

Αφού αποφοίτησε από τη σχολή θεάτρου κίνησης Scuola Teatro Dimitri, εργάστηκε στο Circus Monti στην Ελβετία ως κλόουν. Έπαιξε για διάφορες ομάδες (Compagnia Vitale/ Artistiktheater Mixtura Unica/ Trivial Dance Theatre) πριν αναπτύξει το σόλο κωμικό του πρόγραμμα ως «Heinz Herrmann». Το 2006, ο Klingler ίδρυσε τη δική του ομάδα για σύγχρονο τσίρκο «HeadFeedHands», η οποία συνεχίζει να περιοδεύει διεθνώς και βραβεύτηκε με το βραβείο Kunstdünger Bühnenpreis, το 1ο βραβείο κριτικής επιτροπής και κοινού στο Φεστιβάλ SoloDuo της Βουδαπέστης και στον Διεθνή Διαγωνισμό Χορογραφίας NoBallet.

Αυτή τη στιγμή εργάζεται πάνω στη νεότερη σόλο παραγωγή του «velvet & armchair» (Παγκόσμια Πρεμιέρα 24 Οκτωβρίου 2025) όπου αντιμετωπίζει τον ηθοποιό με τον χαρακτήρα που δημιούργησε, τον «Heinz Herrmann», στο πλαίσιο ενός αποχαιρετισμού και ενός νέου ξεκινήματος.
Αυτή τη στιγμή εργάζεται πάνω στη νεότερη σόλο παραγωγή του «velvet & armchair» (Παγκόσμια Πρεμιέρα 24 Οκτωβρίου 2025) όπου αντιμετωπίζει τον ηθοποιό με τον χαρακτήρα που δημιούργησε, τον «Heinz Herrmann», στο πλαίσιο ενός αποχαιρετισμού και ενός νέου ξεκινήματος.

The seminar Contact Improvisation and Acrobatic Partnering with Günter Klingler, is part of the International Research Theater Laboratory - OSMOSIS, which will be held as part of the 13th HRTFest.
It is a ten-day, international laboratory with trainers of theater and performing arts from all over the world (Greece, Italy, Germany, Poland, Denmark, USA), which will end in the creation of the show Osmosis - The Performance: an open artistic jam with the directon of Fabrica Athens, which will seal the closing ceremony of the Festival.

Workshop Description:
Going deep into basic CI-principles we will examine acrobatic partnering elements. First working within our own movement research we will expand the exploration to interact with other bodies. The investigation work between acrobatics, CI-principles and contemporary phrasing is preparing us to react fast and creative to new and challenging situations and provide lightness in a dance with shared weight.
Günter is working with an organic approach from the “inside out”. Central elements are the use of the breath and a constant sharpening of our awareness. An ongoing question in his practice is how we can dance with maximum presence and individuality and respect and challenge the boundaries of our own body at the same time.

Günter Klingler – dancer, choreographer, circus performer
After graduating from the movement-theatre-school Scuola Teatro Dimitri he worked in Circus Monti in Switzerland as a Clown. He performed for various companies (Compagnia Vitale/ Artistiktheater Mixtura Unica/ Trivial Dance Theatre) before developing his solo artist comedy program as „Heinz Herrmann“.
In 2006, Klingler founded his own Company for Contemporary Circus „HeadFeedHands“, which continues to tour internationally and was awarded Kunstdünger Bühnenpreis, 1st jury- and audience prize at SoloDuo Festival Budapest and at NoBallet International Choreography Competition.
He´s directing and choreographying (4 productions wih Cirque de Loin CH) and travelling through Europe as a guest teacher for contemporary circus, dance and physical theatre (Codarts Circus Arts Rotterdam NL / Circomix I / Kuopion Conservatory for music and dance FIN).
At the moment he´s working on his newest solo production „velvet & armchair“ (World Premier 24th of Octobre 2025) where he is confronting the actor with his created character „Heinz Herrmann“ in the context of a farewell and new beginning.
