Guitarist Billy Chrissochos’ Greek American Heavy metal group Phoenix Reign played to a SOLD OUT crowd at the Blender Theate

Guitarist Billy Chrissochos’ Greek American Heavy metal group Phoenix Reign played to a SOLD OUT crowd this past Friday Jan 29th at the Blender Theater @ Gramercy. Along with fellow guitarist Kostas Psarros, bassist Chris Pollatos, drummer Wayne Noon and singer Theresa Gaffney, they opened up for the popular, European symphonic, metal group Epica. The 650 capacity theater was sold out from early in the evening and the crowd cheered Phoenix Reign as they played an intense, rocking set. The set list was as follows; two tracks from their “Destination Unknown” album opened the set to an ecstatic crowd, “Transcendent” & “Masquerade Angel” which is also a single and a music video. Next up was the thrash tinged Myrsina, based on a Greek fairy tale, followed by the soaring double guitar leads of “End of Our World” and the closing fan favorite from the album, “Run Now”. Το Ελληνο-Αμερικανικό Heavy metal συγκρότημα Phoenix Reign του Βασίλειου Χρυσοχόου έπαιξε την Παρασκευή 29 Ιανουαρίου στο Blender Theater @ Gramercy με παταγώδη επιτυχία. Τα εισιτήρια του θεάτρου των 650 θέσεων είχαν εξαντληθεί από καιρό και η SOLD OUT παράσταση άφησε εποχή.
Οι συντελεστές του συγκροτήματος Βασίλειος Χρυσσοχόoς κιθάρα, Χρήστος Πολλάτος μπάσο, Κώστας Ψαρρός κιθάρα, Wayne Noon τύμπανα, και Theresa Gaffney φωνητικά,
Συνεργάσθηκαν γι’αυτή την συναυλία με το γνωστό Ευρωπαϊκό συγκρότημα Epica.
Το πρόγραμμα συμπεριλάμβανε δυο μέρη από το άλμπουμ τους “Destination Unknown”, και συνεχίστηκε με τα “Transcendent” & “Masquerade Angel” τα οποία είναι εκτός από single και μουσικά βίντεο. Το εκστασιασμένο ακροατήριο απόλαυσε επίσης το δυναμικό Myrsina βασισμένο σε ένα Ελληνικό παραμύθι, και ύστερα από ένα σόλο ηλεκτρικής κιθάρας από το “End of Our World” κλείσανε με κομμάτια από το άλμπουμ “Run Now”.
