VC LIVE | We’re coming to you LIVE from Queenstown, New Zealand this weekend for the 2022 Whakatipu Music Festival | In today’s Grand Finale concert, Festival Artists violinist Robin Wilson, cellist Andrew Joyce, flutist Bridget Douglas, soprano Madeleine Pierard, pianist Stephen De Pledge, and Taongo Pūoro artist Alastair Fraser will share some of their personal favorites with the audience | The program features works by Massenet, Verdi, Whitehead, Saint-Saëns, Bach, as well as a work specifically written for the festival by composer Lucy Mulgan | "Born from a place of change, the festival is a COVID-19 adaptation," Executive Director Anne Rodda this week told The Violin Channel | "It is a response from the Michael Hill International Violin Competition to the new environment in which we now work," she said.
